Insurance: We recommend that each participant take out travel insurance, at his/her own cost, to cover possible accidents or illness. EU citizens, can obtain a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) from their national social security administration. Due to the large number of visitors to the Institute each year, the IISL cannot be responsible for medical and hospital expenses.

Travel: Participants must make and pay for their own travel arrangements. The IISL will organise collective transportation for all participants from Bilbao airport, Bilbao city and the Zumárraga train station to Oñati and return at the times included in the Registration Form, for those participants who return form by the stated deadline for the workshop.

Cancellation expenses: The IISL will not be responsible for cancellation expenses of the trip. We recommend that participants contract a cancellation insurance.

Workshop cancellation: The IISL reserves the right to cancel the workshop for reasons of force majeure. If this is the case, the IISL will inform about its decision as soon as possible.

Accommodation
IMPORTANT: Pre-booking accommodation in Residencia Antia will be based on the date of reception of the registration forms. We will book rooms at Residencia Antia . One month before the date of the workshop, you will receive a link for the payment of the accommodation in the residence by VISA / Master card through a secure payment gateway. Other forms of payment will not be accepted. Please note that the Residencia Antia does not allow pets. Room rates will be adjusted in 2027. The deadline for payment of the accommodation is 3 weeks before the workshop. Cancellation policy [+info] If you want, you can book a room on your own in a local Hotel. There are 2 Hotels in the centre of Oñati: Hotel Ongi | Iraipe and Hotel Torre Zumeltzegi The walking distance between Hotel Torre Zumeltzegi and the Institute is 7 minutes (sloping road), between Hotel Ongi | Iraipe and the Institute is 2 minutes and between Antia Residence and the Institute is 5 minutes. People who book a room at the Hotel Torre Zumeltzegi and would like to join the bus service organised by the Institute, have to take into account that they must get off at the bus stop at the Hotel Ongi | Iraipe or at the Antia Residence. The road to the Hotel Zumeltzegi is narrow and the bus cannot get there. The same for the departure bus on Saturday if they would like to join the bus service organised by the Institute.
Residencia Antia. All rooms have their own bathroom. Breakfast will not be served in the Residence. There is no daily cleaning service and there is no lift in the Residence. The price rates will be adjusted in 2027.
If your reservation is for a double room, please, indicate the name of the accompanying person and if he/she is participating in the workshop.

The accompanying person(s) can join the buses organised for the participants. There is a fee to be paid per bus service.
Lunches
Workshop fee at the IISL
All participants have to pay a workshop fee, regardless of whether they present a paper or do not participate in all day throughout the workshop. The fee includes two lunches, a dinner/welcome reception and collective transport in the days and times listed in the arrival and departure section. 2 months and 3 weeks before the date of the workshop, you will receive a link for the payment of the registration fee by VISA / Master card through a secure payment gateway. Other forms of payment will not be accepted. The deadline for payment of the workshop fee is 1 month before the workshop. Cancellation policy
All those who are members of the RCSL and have paid the fee by 31st December 2025, will be considered under the reduced fee category of €150.00. If this is not the case, they will have to pay for the regular fee of €175.00.
