For future students

  • A one-year programme (60 ECTS), taught face-to-face at the IISL in Oñati.
  • Twelve two-week courses from September to March (40 ECTS).
  • Master's Thesis (Research Project) from April to September (20 ECTS).
  • Small class size of 15 students. A few additional places available for single course participants.
  • The Master’s programme is accredited by the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and can also be found on their website.
  • While the IISL is located in the Basque Country (Spain), the programme is taught entirely in English.
  • The Master's is both a recognised stand-alone qualification, and also accepted as a foundation for PhD research by universities all over the world.
  • Double degree in Sociology of Law and in Sustainable Development possible (in cooperation with the University of Milan).
  • Approximate tuition fees for the Master's Programme in total: € 4,250.
  • Students will be given the opportunity to lodge at preferential terms at the Antia Hall of Residence.
  • The estimated total costs of your stay range around or above € 10.000.
