We would like to inform you that in January 2026, the Sancti Spiritus building will undergo major renovation works. For one year we will relocate to the Provincial Archives of Gipuzkoa, just a short five-minute walk from the old university.
The library service will be limited during this period when the renovation works are carried out in the building of Sancti Spiritus University, but we will guarantee our users access to the collection. Although physical and direct access to the library will not be possible during the works, all users will be able to access the library's materials by prior request filling in this form. Please read the Protocol document about this process.
The timetable of the library service will be affected. While the institute is housed in the Historical Archives building, the library consultation service will be from Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 15:00. Users may work in the consultation room known as "Selma Huxley Gela", which is located directly opposite the building's main entrance.
The Historical Provincial Archives of Gipuzkoa building is located at these distances:
- from Antia Residence - 700 meters
- from the IISL building (Old University) - 280 meters
