The third workshop of the season, Regulating Lawyers through Disciplinary Systems, has gathered scholars from four continents at the IISL -Asia, Europe, North and South America, and Oceania are represented in this workshop, which is being chaired by Kay-Wah Chan (Macquarie University), Judith McMorrow (Boston College Law School), and Sida Liu (University of Toronto).

Uno de los temas más estudiados actualmente dentro del campo de la sociología jurídica es el de la regulación de la profesión del Derecho. Precisamente de eso tratará el tercer seminario de esta temporada en el Instituto Internacional de Sociología Jurídica de Oñati, titulado Regulating Lawyers through Disciplinary Systems.

The second workshop of the season at the IISL, Digital Family Justice: The journey from ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) to ODR (Online Dispute Resolution), has gathered around 25 academics from several countries.

Tras un exitoso comienzo de la temporada de workshops en el Instituto Internacional de Sociología Jurídica de Oñati, llega el turno del segundo seminario, que se celebrará el jueves y viernes, días 19 y 20 de abril. El seminario, titulado Digital Family Justice from ADR to ODR estará coordinado por Mavis Maclean (Universidad de Oxford) y Bregje Dijksterhuis (Universidad Vrije, Amsterdam).

The workshop season has just begun at the Institute, with the opening, today (12 April, Thursday) of the first workshop, called The Rule of Law, Populism and Militant Democracy in Europe. It is being coordinated by Jernej Letnar Černič and Matej Avbelj (Graduate School of Government and European Studies, Slovenia).

Este viernes se inaugura la temporada de workshops en el Instituto Internacional de Sociología Jurídica de Oñati (IISJ). Desde esta semana y hasta finales de julio, se celebrarán 16 reuniones científicas, con personas representantes de diversas universidades de varios países en la organización y participación.
