We are pleased to invite you to the presentation of the Institute’s 2026 research lines, which will take place on Wednesday, November 26, from 14:30 to 17:00 (CET). The session will be held at the IISL (Achille Loria Room) and will also be accesible online. The aim of this event is to inform the our community about the Institute’s current research lines and to explore potential opportunities for collaboration.

Each research group will offer a brief presentation, followed by Q&A.

The Division of White-Collar and Corporate Crime (DWCC) of the American Society of Criminology is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2025 DWCC Awards, recognizing excellence in scholarship, teaching, and professional contributions in the study of white-collar and corporate crime.

Each of these awards honors individuals who have demonstrated exceptional contributions to advancing understanding, teaching, and research in this vital area of criminological inquiry.

On 10 December, this year's Master's students will receive a presentation about Introduction to Research Methodology and publications by Emergent Researchers, which will include sections about preparing a scholarly paper, plagiarism and how to avoid it, citing and referencing, Open Access, and guidelines about appropriate use of Gen AI tools. The presentation is prepared by Leire Kortabarria, the IISL's Publications officer, and is offered as a bonus to the official programme. The contents are deeply aligned with the IISL's objective to foster Open Science.
