We are pleased to invite you to the presentation of the Institute’s 2026 research lines, which will take place on Wednesday, November 26, from 14:30 to 17:00 (CET). The session will be held at the IISL (Achille Loria Room) and will also be accesible online. The aim of this event is to inform the our community about the Institute’s current research lines and to explore potential opportunities for collaboration.
Each research group will offer a brief presentation, followed by Q&A.
The Research Lines to be presented are:
1. -Justice and Governance
2. -Human Rights, State Violence and Transitional Justice
3. -AI and New Technologies
4.-Legal Cultures in Contemporary Socio-Legal Perspectives (with special attention to Basque Law)
In addition, we will present one project:
Vicdata – an international victimology database on atrocities.
