An internationally esteemed socio-legal scholar, I am Professor and Distinguished University Scholar at the Allard School of Law, University of British Columbia. My work is in constitutional law, human rights, corporate and commercial law, and socio-legal theory. A recipient of numerous honours and awards, I have published prolifically, both traditional academic papers and books, and also public-facing books, documentary films, and media pieces, with some of my works widely translated.
