On 23 September, the Rector’s Office of the University of the Basque Country (EHU), led by the Rector, Joxerramon Bengoetxea, and the Vice-rector, Gotzone Barandika, welcomed in Oñati a delegation from the Government of Iraqi Kurdistan. The delegation attended Bengoetxea's course in the IISL’s International Master’s Programme, and in the afternoon they held an institutional meeting, followed by a talk and discussion session entitled: ‘Kurdistan governance in Iraq: Challenges and aspirations’. The IISL would like to thank the delegation for their visit and for delivering their talk, which was attended by the Master's students.
