Today, 22 September, marks the official opening of the 2025/26 edition of the IISL’s International Master’s in Sociology of Law, welcoming eleven new students from around the world. The cohort was greeted in Oñati by EHU Rector Joxerramon Bengoetxea, Oñati Mayor Izaro Elorza, IISL Scientific Director Camilo Umaña, Master’s Director Iker Nabaskues, and Oñati council member Iñaki Olalde. In their addresses, they highlighted the importance of the IISL in promoting the study of sociology of law and in raising the profile of Oñati on the international stage. They thanked the students for choosing the IISL and they invited them to enjoy Oñati and its upcoming fiestas.
