Double degree in Sociology of Law and in Sustainable Development

The IISL Master's degree in Sociology of Law of the University of the Basque Country (EHU) allows students to have a double degree in Sustainable Development at the University of Milan.

After completing the IISL one year programme and obtaining ther oficial Master of Arts in Sociology of Law, our students can opt to one additional year in Milan to complete and obtain the title of Master's in Sustainable Development.

ADMISSION process

• Students apply to the ‘Double Degree Programme’ at their home institution (either IISL or Milan University), and this institution is responsible for processing the applications. The admission of students is subject to final approval by the host institution.
• To be eligible to participate, students enrolled at IISL-EHU in their first year of the ‘Double Degree Programme’ must have achieved at least 60 ECTS; students enrolled at UNIMI in their first year of the ‘Double degree Programme’ shall have achieved 60 ECTS.

Dates:

Applications from UNIMI students must reach IISL-EHU by May 31st.

Applications from EHU students must reach UNIMI by June 15th. 

Students participating under this Agreement shall be regularly enrolled to their home institution but will only pay tuition fees at the institution where they are following courses during the relevant academic year

Titles awarded

Students successfully completing their ‘Double degree Programme’ studies will obtain two degrees, with corresponding final grade, issued respectively by the home institution and the host institution:

UNIMI  Laurea magistrale in Law and Sustainable Development   /LLM in Law and Sustainable Development

EHU at IISL  Máster Universitario Internacional en Sociología Jurídica   /International Master in Sociology of Law

Annotations will be included on both certificates to acknowledge the joint nature of the degree and partner universities involved.
