Biografía:

I was born in Germany (and still speak German) but my family emigrated to Canada when I was a child. I have a BA (Hon) in Regional and Urban Planning from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Toronto, and an LLM from the University of Saskatchewan. I practiced law for about 16 years before moving to academia, with a general practice of law but with an emphasis on immigration and refugee law. I have been teaching law full time since 2009, and I am also a part-time member of the Saskatchewan Municipal Board. I was tenured in 2018.

Area(s) of expertise: Canadian Aboriginal, municipal and administrative law
