La profesora Sarah Blandy (Universidad de Sheffield) ofrecerá la charla titulada Property "from the ground up", este sábado, 24 de noviembre, en la residencia Antia, a las 09:30. Robert Home, de la Universidad Anglia Ruskin, comentará la charla, y también intervendrá Joxerramon Bengoetxea, de la EHU/UPV, presentando el centenario de Eusko Ikaskuntza. Después de la charla, habrá un debate.

Professor Sarah Blandy (University of Sheffield) will give a presentation on Property "from the ground up", on Saturday, 24 November, at the Antia Residence, 09:30am. Robert Home, of the Anglia Ruskin University, will be the discussant, and Joxerramon Bengoetxea, of EHU/UPV, will present the Basque Society of Studies's 100th Anniversary. A discussion will follow.

Amietta, Santiago

Santiago Abel Amietta is currently a lecturer in criminology at the School of Social, Political and Global Studies, Keele University, UK. He holds a PhD from the University of Manchester, an MA from the Oñati International Institute for the Sociology of Law (IISL), and an LLB from the National University of Córdoba, Argentina (UNC). His research interests span the legal profession, lay participation in criminal justice, migration and integration, and state recognition of indigenous nations, with a continued regional focus on Latin America.

Feest, Johannes

Johannes Feest is a (retired) professor of Criminal Law and Criminology at the University of Bremen, Germany. He received his legal education at the universities Vienna and Munich and his sociological training at the University of California, Berkeley. From 1995-1997, he was Scientific Director of the International Institute for the Sociology of Law in Oñati . He has performed empirical research on criminal justice agencies (police, judges, prisons).

Varona, Gema

More than thirty years of interdisciplinary criminological work, with 4 sexenios and Docentiaz accreditation. From my Law degree and Diploma in Criminology (UPV1987-1992), my academic record and early participation in conferences stand out, as well as a collaboration grant (IVAC) and a Diploma in Leuven on penal policies in Europe. My thesis on restorative justice received the Extraordinary Doctorate Award, along with other awards from the UAB and the International Society of Criminology.
