Biografía:

I am Francesco Mancin, a Ph.D. student in Philosophy of Law at the University of Milano-Bicocca, in the School of Law.

I graduated in the same university in 2016, with a dissertation on the constitutional changes in Central and Eastern Europe, with a special focus on the new Hungarian fundamental law. After graduating, I worked for about a year in an Italian commercial bank.

Afterwards I started an internship at the Criminal Court of Bergamo, also working at a law firm in the same city.

In October 2018 I entered the PhD course, presenting a research project in legal philosophy.

I'm currently attending the second year, and I'm dealing with the legal concept of 'boundary', studied both from the point of view of formal ontology and mereo-topology, from the point of view of the so-called deontic artifacts (this a field linked to social ontology), and of the various normative modalities concerning spatial delimitation and representation. This work originates from the study of the 'confinability' of common goods, which remains a constant subtext of my research.
