I am Research Associate and doctoral candidate in the MeDiMi project “Who is empowered by Strasbourg? Migrants and States before the ECtHR”. I am currently working on my PhD thesis “Joining Forces on Migration? I have been teaching Fundamental Rights in Europe in the Bachelor of Law’s program and supervising Bachelor’s thesis at the VU on a joint project on Nativist populism and migration law. Before that, I used to work as a coordinator and as an asylum lawyer for a non-governmental organization in Madrid (Spain), specializing in gender-based asylum claims.
