Biografía: 

Phd student in Law and Institutions at the Law Department of the University of Turin - Italy.

My name is Costanza Agnella and I am a second year PhD student at the Law Department of the University of Turin (doctoral course in Law and Institutions). I graduated in law on February 15, 2018 with a degree thesis in sociology of law entitled "La gestione dei conflitti nel campo giuridico del penitenziario: uno studio di caso" (in english: The management of conflicts in the legal field of penitentiary: a case study, supervisor: professor Cecilia Blengino). I started my doctoral course at the University of Turin in October 2018 with a socio-legal research project entitled "L’istituzione penitenziaria come strumento di costruzione del soggetto giuridico moderno" (in english: The penitentiary institution as a construction tool for the modern legal subject, supervisor: professor Claudio Sarzotti). At the Law Department of the University of Turin, in addition to research, I’m dealing with clinical legal education. In fact, since March 2019, I am the tutor for the law clinic: Prison and Rights I at the Department of Law of the University of Turin (teacher: professor Cecilia Blengino). I also carried out tutoring and assistance for the Sociology of Law (distance learning) teaching chair at the University of Turin- Cuneo office (teacher: professor Giovanni Torrente) in the A.Y. 2018-2019. In February 2020 I won a call for a tutoring activity for the online Sociology of Deviance course at the University of Turin- Cuneo office (teacher: professor Giovanni Torrente). Since November 2019 I also have a research scholarship for the project “EduCit 2017 – Reti e strumenti per educare alla cittadinanza” (in english: Networks and tools for citizenship education), relating to the theme of citizenship.
