My name is Elena Cecchini I am currently a second-year PhD student in Global Studies at the University of Urbino, Italy.
I am working on a research project titled “Migration and right to health: hierarchisation of citizenship and movements of resistance in Italy”. My thesis supervisor is Professor Federico Losurdo, from the University of Urbino, while my co-supervisor is Professor Dolores Morondo Taramundi. I have a legal background, with a specialisation in international humanitarian and criminal law, while the project I am currently pursuing stretches between law and sociology of law.
