Biografía: 

Since August 2021 Professor of Art and Society at the University of Kassel with a secondary affiliation at the Kunsthochschule Kassel and the documenta Institute. Since 2017, she has been director of the SNSF research project "Contested Amnesia and Dissonant Narratives in the Global South. Post-Conflict in Literature, Art, and Emergent Archives" (Swiss National Science Foundation). As a visiting scholar, she was at New York University, Columbia University, Harvard University, and the Orient Institute Beirut, and taught at the University of Zurich and Universidad del Rosario Bogotá. She is editor of Performing Human Rights. Contested Amnesia and Aesthetic Practices in the Global South (diaphanes, Zürich, 2021), and with Lisa Blackmore (eds.). Liquid Ecologies in Latin American and Caribbean Art (Routledge, New York, 2020). More recent publications as author include Archive Matter. A Camera in the Laboratory of the Modern (diaphanes, Zürich 2022).
