Biografía:

I am a PhD researcher in the Law and Development Program at FGV DIREITO SP, in São Paulo, Brazil, supported by FGV DIREITO SP and the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). I am also a member of the Research Group on Law and State Violence at the same institution, where I am developing a doctoral dissertation examining the context of a prison massacre that took place in Brazil in 2017. My research draws primarily on documentary methods, including judicial archives, and engages with themes such as the right to memory, reparations, and access to justice. I hold a Master's degree from the same program at FGV DIREITO SP. My Master's thesis was subsequently published as a book (only in Portuguese) entitled Judicial, Prison, and Life Labyrinths: A Study on the Management of Sanctions Against Women in the State of São Paulo, released as part of the Pesquisa Direito GV Collection within the Law and Development series. I hold a law degree from the Faculty of Law of São Bernardo do Campo and am a licensed attorney in Brazil. I have extensive experience in collaborative research, consulting, and civil society and social movement projects, working on issues related to state violence, human rights, prisons, the justice system in Brazil and internationally, access to justice, gender, migration, and traditional peoples.
