In the workshop Law and Political Economy in Latin America: Problems and Perspectives for a Transnational Agenda, which will take place at the IISL in Oñati on 9-10 May 2024, there are still a few slots for further papers and a few extra seats for participants.

The annual RCSL Conference will take place in Bangor (Wales, UK) from 3 to 6 September 2024.The deadline for submitting proposals for papers, panels and roundtables is 3 March 2024.

Students of the Deusto Master in Human Rights Policy and Practice and MA in Euroculture visited the Institute and its library. About 40 students of different ages and from a total of 27 countries gathered in Oñati with the studies coordinators Maite Sagasti and Philippa Mullins, where they were welcomed and given a guided tour of the Sancti Spiritus University and San Miguel parochial church.

The 35th edition of the IISL's International Master's in Sociology of Law is ready, and enrollment is open until 15 March. In the 2024/25 Programme, we will again have a great line of teachers from five continents eager to share their expertise in socio-legal scholarship with Master’s students from all over the world.
