KM Rakibul Islam gana la beca Mariella Carrino

This year's Mariella Carrino grant - In memoriam has been awarded to KM Rakibul Islam, who presented a proposal on “Beyond Borders, Beneath Roofs: Sociolegal Conflict, Housing Rights, and Migrant Precarity in Portuguese Agricultural Regions”.

Rakibul is a PhD candidate at the Universidade de Coimbra, and his work sits at the intersection of sociolegal studies, migration governance, housing crisis, and human rights, with a regional focus on South Asian migrant communities in Southern Europe. He is currently based in Moita, Setúbal, Portugal.

We congratulate Rakibul and we thank the Carrino family for their generosity, so that this line of research can be carried out at the Institute.
