I am currently a Professor at Essex Law School and Director of the Essex Human Rights Centre. I am also a
longstanding member of the Council of Europe's COINGO Expert Council on NGO Law. Prior to joining academia in 2018, I worked in the human rights field for 25 years, with NGOs, intergovernmental organisations and in private practise.
