Bringel, Breno

Breno Bringel is Professor of Sociology at the Institute of Social and Political Studies of the State University of Rio de Janeiro (IESP-UERJ) since 2011, with a permanent position since 2014. In 2022 he was awarded the ‘Talento Investigador’ excellence programme of the Community of Madrid, in the framework of which he is currently developing a research project on social movements and the geopolitics of ecosocial transitions at the Complutense University of Madrid and coordinates the Observatorio de Geopolítica y Transiciones Ecosociales.
