Dear readers,

September has come with exciting news - on the one hand, ANVUR, Italy's national evaluation agency for university and research journals, has placed Oñati Socio-legal Series in the category of Upper Class journals, awarding it an "A" class rating in both the legal-philosophical and sociological sectors. This is an important accomplishment - special thanks are due to Luigi Cominelli, to Vincenzo Ferrari, and to Cristina Ruiz.

On the other hand, there has been a third output of the journal, which, under the title Les enjeux de la ritualisation judiciaire. Une réflexion sur les formes du procès, deals with several issues that surround the judicial ritualisation. The monograph has been coordinated by Diane Bernard (Saint-Louis University of Brussels, Belgium), according to whom this collective work "aims at understanding the functions of codified practices before courts (...); important changes as regards ritualization are implemented today, while their articulation with the functions and power of law often remain unproblematized".

We are excited to present this issue to you and we invite you to read and disseminate these papers.

Sincerely,

Leire
