The committee of the Manolo Calvo Award of the Oñati Community, composed of Professors Vincenzo Ferrari and Teresa Picontó-Novales, is pleased to announce that the Manolo Calvo Award 2026 has been granted to Elsa Reiderstad for her Master’s Thesis entitled:  “Mapping Harassment from Below: Crowdsourced Safety Maps, Lived Experience, and Socio-Legal Translation Processes in the UK

On 23 September, the Rector’s Office of the University of the Basque Country (EHU), led by the Rector, Joxerramon Bengoetxea, and the Vice-rector, Gotzone Barandika, welcomed in Oñati a delegation from the Government of Iraqi Kurdistan. The delegation attended Bengoetxea's course in the IISL’s International Master’s Programme, and in the afternoon they held an institutional meeting, followed by a talk and discussion session entitled: ‘Kurdistan governance in Iraq: Challenges and aspirations’.

El día 23 de septiembre, el rectorado de Universidad del País Vasco (EHU), encabezado por el rector, Joxerramon Bengoetxea, y la vicerrectora, Gotzone Barandika, recibió en Oñati a una delegación del gobierno de Kurdistán-Irak. La delegación participó en la clase de Bengoetxea en el Máster Internacional del IISJ, y por la tarde celebraron una reunión institucional, seguida de una charla-coloquio: Kurdistan governance in Irak: Challenges and aspirations.
