Teerikangas, Minni
Minni Teerikangas is a PhD researcher at the University of Eastern Finland’s Law School, with a background in social sciences. Her doctoral research is situated in the fields of criminology and sociology of law, focusing on the financial exploitation of older adults. She has contributed to projects examining everyday legal problems and promoting the rights of vulnerable groups, including people with dementia and individuals with epilepsy. Her research is empirical and multi-method, conducted within a multidisciplinary environment. Currently, she also works in an interdisciplinary biomedical and social science research project examining the socioeconomic status and modifiable risk factors among people with neurodegenerative diseases and mental health disorders.
