I am an early career scholar in Brazil, with ample experience in the fields of sociology of international law and human rights. Ihold a PhD in Law (University of Manchester, United Kingdom) and a LL.M (University of Brasilia, Brazil). I have worked as a Visiting Professional at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, as a United Nations Consultant, and as a Research Associate at the project "The Sociology of the Transnational Constitution", led by Prof. Chris Thornhill and funded with an advanced grant by the European Research Council. I am currently a Visiting Professor, in a temporary regime (part-time work contract), at the postgraduate program of one of the most prestigious Law Schools in Brazil (Faculdade de Direito do Recife, Federal University of Pernambuco, UFPE).
