Pritchard, Huw

The UK is now facing its future outside membership of the European Union. Much has been discussed of the legal and political implications for Northern Ireland and Scotland. The aim of this talk is to introduce the audience to the context in Wales. As a nation that voted to leave the EU, but with a pro-EU and unionist government, Wales is a distinctive space of social struggle which has constitutional and political implications. This talk will consider Wales’ place within the UK constitution and its future relationship with the EU.
