Ralf Rogowski has worked at Warwick since 1993. He taught previously at Lancaster University and at the Free University in Berlin. He is currently the Director of the Law and Sociology Programme and was Co-Director of the Social Theory Centre until 2009. He has been a Visiting Fellow at the Universities of Wisconsin, Madison; Konstanz; and Maastricht and a longstanding Research Associate at the Wissenschaftszentrum für Sozialforschung (WZB) in Berlin. From September to December 2006, he was Senior Emile Noel Fellow at New York University School of Law. Since 1996 he has been general editor of the book series Studies in Modern Law and Policy and since 2012 with S. Karstedt and D. Taenzler of the book series Law, Crime and Culture (both Ashgate).
